About: This all started way back in November 2003. I'm pretty shocked at how much this site has grown since then...

About: The trouble all began when I was ten, it was my birthday actually. I
unwrapped a book which was probably best left in the wrapping paper, it was
titled 'The Bad Beginning' but it didn't just stop there, beneath this book
was another sinister volume entitled 'The Reptile Room' little before long
(well, actually that would subsitute for five years) I had 'The Bad
Beginning' another eleven books in between and 'The End' Lemony Snicket's
task was to record the Baudelaire case for all of us readers. Now, as an
editorial writer here on The Quiet World I feel it is my solemn duty to
inform you of any theories within the 'Series of Unfortunate Events' and as
a journalist of this editorial it is my duty to ensure that these theories
are presnted to yuo in the best way possible, that would be by turning away,
do not make the mistake I did, I may have unqrapped that book on that
fateful day but you are not obliged to read my editorial. I suggest instead
that you go and partake in some special orphan running exercises. With all
due respect.

Favorite Books: A Series Of Unfortunate Events, Dr. Illuminatus, Artemis Fowl... though anything fantasy or science-fiction is great.
Favorite Movies: Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Dead Poet's Society, Harry Potter, The Matrix, Mean Girls, Van Helsing, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Scream
Favorite Character: Probably Klaus because he's so intelligent.
Favorite ASoUE Quote: "The last time I saw you, I was trying to throw thumbtacks into your cradle." Count Olaf to Fiona, The Grim Grotto
Location: Pennsylvania
About: Hmmm... Well, I guess I should begin by saying my sister pointed out the books to me, after she read the first few, and after the first one, I was obsessed. What was VFD, who was Beatrice? and where was that sugar bowl? I read a lot, when I have time in between school and homework, and coming on to the forum to check out everyone's theories... I like to read and write, mainly poetry.

About: I joined the Staff here at TQW about 5 months ago.. a naive 14 year old looking for a place to fit in. It was at the IMDb boards (I'm TrinaLies) that I saw "Daring" David's signature with that fateful link. I thought "what do I have to lose?", so I clicked, and I liked!! I immediately wanted to join the staff of that great site, and with my writing skills, applied to be a "journalist", in fact, the first editorialist on TQW! I was so proud of myself when I was told I could do it. First editorial came out, and I recived tremendous response. I became a Forum Freak, Count Olafty and I spamming away to drive Michael insane.. so insane that he even had to make us our own spam section! Now, I'm just one of those "all-around" staff people.. some editorials here, some theories and content there, soon a little posting and caption contest judging... It's been a really great experience here, and I have no intention to leave.
